What’s included

3.5-hour Studio Orientation (Built In)

Every Habitat begins with a 3.5-hour session led by an experienced engineer.

This is your foundation for your stay.

Learn the space, gear, signal flow, and workflow
Set up your session templates and routing
Align on your creative goals and recording plan
Leave orientation ready to record independently with confidence

From there, you can stay self-led, or add support where it will make the biggest impact.

When to add engineer support

Engineer sessions are most useful when the technical side starts to slow the creative process down.

Artist typically add support when they:

Want to focus fully on performance instead of setup
Are tracking vocals or critical takes
Are recording multiple musicians or full band
Need help dialling in tones, mics, and signal flow
Are working on a tighter timeline and need to move efficiently

If you’re comfortable running sessions and prefer an exploratory pace, you may not need additional support.

If you want momentum, clarity, and clean execution — this is where it helps.

Engineer sessions are booked in 3.5-hour blocks.

You can layer them into your schedule depending on how intensive you want your recording days to be.

Half Day

Ideal for a focused tracking block. Vocals, guitars, a single “get it done” moment.

Best for full-band tracking, vocal production days, or moving multiple songs forward.

Day 1 note

Your Orientation counts as your first 3.5-hour session.
You can add additional sessions on Day 1 if you want to continue recording immediately.

How to Plan Your Engineer Support

Engineer sessions are scheduled in advance as part of your Habitat planning.

  1. Join Recording Club and schedule your Habitat dates
  2. During onboarding, share your goals and where support will help most
  3. Choose 1–3 sessions per day based on your pace
  4. We confirm a plan aligned with your workflow and priorities

Availability is limited. Early booking is recommended, especially for full and extended-day support.
