Benalto Sound Artist Habitats combine an on-site Artist Residence with professional studio access so artists, writers, and producers can create without friction. Choose a Self-Led residency (plug-and-play with optional support) or go Production Team-Led with an IAH producer/songwriter team built into your schedule.
Two ways to book: pay in full with self-checkout options — or reserve with a simple $300 deposit (credited to your final invoice).

- Access to the main Recording Studio and Mixing Room during your stay
- The Sun & Moon Producer Suite for writing and pre-production (upright piano, Farfisa organ, music library)
- Nightly listening-friendly Master Suite setup (ideal for playback and reference checks)
Artist Residence
A renovated three-bedroom studio apartment designed for teams — a semi-private suite on the second floor complete with — a full shower/tub bathroom, laundry, mini-fridge, and microwave. It’s a comfortable home base that keeps sessions moving and recovery simple.

1) Self-Led Artist Habitat
Best for: independent teams who want flexibility, privacy, and optional support.
A Self-Led Habitat gives you a structured stay with full studio access, plus optional engineer support when you want it.
Important: Your first studio day begins with a mandatory 3.5-hour engineer setup/orientation session to get your team situated, review studio workflow, support your custom setup, and ensure a smooth start.
You can add:
- Engineer half-days and full-days
- Additional producer support by request
- Extra studio blocks based on availability
2) Production Team-Led Artist Habitat (IAH-Led)
Best for: teams who want built-in collaboration, creative direction, and a clear plan.
Production Team-Led Habitats pair your artist team with an IAH producer/songwriter team for daily sessions that move the project forward. You choose your team size (1–4 producers/songwriters), and the schedule includes a rest day every 5th day for reset and perspective.
Ideal for:
- Building a cohesive sound fast
- Writing and producing with trusted collaborators
- Leaving with stronger songs + clearer next steps
How it works
- Book (pay in full or reserve with a $300 deposit)
- Orientation/Options Call (within 14 days) — clarify goals, dates, rooming, and your ideal workflow
- Soft hold on your proposed dates while details are finalized
- Confirmation Call — lock schedule, staffing, engineer blocks, and arrival details
- Arrive & create — we keep it organized so your team can stay in flow

What’s the minimum stay?
Self-Led and Production Team-Led Habitats have a 4-night minimum.
Do we need to bring gear?
Bring your laptops/sessions, preferred instruments, and any must-have tools. The studio is fully equipped, and your Day-1 setup session ensures everything is routed and working.
Can we book without an engineer?
Self-Led can be mostly independent, but Day-1 includes a mandatory 3.5-hour setup/orientation session to launch the residency safely and efficiently.
How does the Production Team-Led schedule work?
You’ll have daily structured sessions with your producer/songwriter team, with a rest day every 5th day for reset and optional local activities.
Can we stay longer than the listed options?

Is the $300 deposit refundable?
Refundable within 7 days of purchase; after that it’s non-refundable but transferable once within the 12-month window.
